Beware of Internet Fraud

We are starting to get some fraudulent inquiries for our "kayak and canoe for sale" posts. So, if you post any equipment for sale, beware of a typical scam involving buyer interest, whereby the buyer will supposedly send funds to you and ask you to forward funds to his shipper, who will then pick up the equipment. If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of an offer, feel free to contact brint, and I will be glad to review the offer for you before you close any deal.
